We are starting to offer in house DIY coaching with access to a van maker's space.

You dream it, I'll build it. I'll start by understanding your dream and your needs. Open communication lets us work together on a design, and I will spend time making a 3D rendering so you can visualize where we are going. Once I start work on your van, you are encouraged to remain involved as much as you like.
There are certain things I will recommend for simplicity, ease and cost, but everything is ultimately up for discussion.
There are so many tiny details along the way that planning 100% up front is impossible. That little hook that fits between the driver's seat and kitchen won’t come up in the planning stage. Those extra cubbies in the sliding door are usually overlooked, but why not add them?
As you develop your spatial awareness in relation to your gear, your utensils, and your clothing, you’ll find things to add and details to change.
At Landau Living, I work with you, not just for you.
Why do I teach?
I believe that guiding you through your own experience will give you the most satisfaction, and ensure you get exactly what your vision is.
The intimate knowledge you gain as you build your own space gives you more ownership. It will empower your own creative dreams, and the more you know, the better you can maintain your home for years to come.
If you are in the middle of your own project and need advice or some hands on help to get through something challenging like cutting in a window or adding solar, I'm happy to help. Come use tools and an expert opinion, or drop it off and I'll take care of it.
I charge for time and materials for all services. This lets custom be truly custom, and ensures I can take adequate time for top quality.
Time teaching and building together is charged at the same rate, so your involvement will likely shorten the build time!

This is the Homey van, recently completed as a quarantine project. The quote below reflects everything that went into this van, as a baseline for what to expect.
I also added a few extras like a kitchen, as an idea of what comes next.
